Overview

Geo Events designs event sets and stages and builds them in-house. The designer who draws the stage works beside the shop that fabricates it, so renderings become real builds without a handoff.

We design for the room and the camera: keynote and conference stages, gala and awards sets, scenic backdrops, branded stage façades, and immersive environments that carry one theme across the whole venue.

What we design and build

  • Conference and keynote stages with integrated screens and lighting positions
  • Gala, awards, and milestone event sets
  • Scenic backdrops, portals, and dimensional walls
  • Branded stage façades and lecterns
  • Runway and fashion show sets
  • Immersive themed environments

How we work

  • Renderings first, so you see the room before anything is built
  • Shop drawings and engineering review on every set
  • Built in our New York shop and installed by the same crew

Common Questions

Do you design stages for conferences and corporate events?

expand_more
Yes. Keynote stages, general sessions, awards and gala sets, all designed around screens, lighting, and sightlines.

Can you work with our production company or AV vendor?

expand_more
Yes. We design and build the set, and we coordinate dimensions, rigging, and screen positions with your technical team.

Do you fabricate what you design?

expand_more
Yes, in our New York shop. The designer and the builder are the same team, so the set matches the rendering.

Can you build a set from our existing design?

expand_more
Yes. Send drawings or renderings and we return shop drawings and a fabrication scope.

How far in advance should we start?

expand_more
Ideal runway is 6 to 12 weeks for a custom set. Renderings and approvals take the first part of that window.

Can a set be reused for a recurring event?

expand_more
Yes. We design for crating and storage when a set will return, and refresh graphics between editions.

Do you produce the whole event too?

expand_more
Yes, through our event production service when you want one team from design through show day.
