These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of geoevents.com (the “Site”), operated by Geo Events Groups, LLC (“Geo Events,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is informational
The Site describes our event design, fabrication, and production capabilities and shows examples of past work. Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide services, a quote, or a guarantee of availability, timing, or results. Every engagement is governed by a separate written proposal or agreement signed by Geo Events and the client. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the signed agreement controls for that project.
Project descriptions, metrics, and images are illustrative of work we have delivered. Client names, venues, and brands are referenced to describe that work and do not imply endorsement of Geo Events by those parties.
Inquiries and submissions
When you submit an inquiry or quote request, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to share it. We may use it to respond to you, prepare a proposal, and follow up as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential or proprietary information through the Site’s forms; use a signed agreement for that. Any ideas, feedback, or suggestions you send us about the Site or our services may be used by us without obligation to you.
Intellectual property
The Site and everything on it, including text, photographs, video, renderings, drawings, logos, graphics, page designs, and code, are owned by Geo Events or used with permission and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “Geo Events” and our logos are our marks. Client and venue names and logos belong to their respective owners.
You may view the Site and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, scrape, frame, modify, or create derivative works from Site content, or use it for any commercial purpose, without our prior written permission. Requests to license photography or reference our work can be sent to [email protected].
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent inquiries, or impersonate any person or organization.
- Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to access the Site or harvest content or contact information, except for standard search-engine indexing.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or connected systems, or interfere with its operation or security.
- Upload or transmit malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Site for anyone who violates these Terms.
Third-party content and links
The Site may link to or embed content from third parties, including venues, partners, publications, video platforms, and social networks. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is subject to their own terms and policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or free of harmful components. Information on the Site may change without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Geo Events and its members, managers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Liability arising under a signed services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Geo Events and its members, managers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises or it is permanently barred.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Geo Events regarding use of the Site.
