To celebrate Pride Month, One World Observatory sought an installation that would honor
inclusivity, diversity, and love while complementing one of the most iconic views in the world.
Working directly with the marketing team for the entire One World Trade Center complex, Geo
Events was tasked with designing and fabricating a large-scale experiential photo moment that
would engage visitors throughout Pride Month and create a memorable visual centerpiece high
above the New York City skyline. The result was ‘One Love’ — a custom laser-cut acrylic cityscape
sculpture inspired by the New York skyline and anchored by a vibrant rainbow interpretation of One
World Trade Center itself.
The installation needed to celebrate Pride Month, integrate seamlessly into the Observatory
environment, preserve skyline views, encourage guest interaction and social sharing, and remain
visually pristine throughout a month-long public installation.
Geo Events designed and fabricated a custom 12-foot-wide by 8-foot-high photo activation titled
‘One Love.’ The centerpiece featured a custom laser-cut acrylic sculpture with layered translucent
buildings, rainbow color progression, a stylized New York skyline, and a featured One World Trade
Center centerpiece.
